Lemonade Diet Plan Review: Benefits & Recipes That Work

The lemonade diet is also regarded as a detox diet, where you have to go on a fasting program for about 3 to 10 days. The goal of the program is to have all the toxins removed from your body. Those are substances that have been accumulated over time and may cause some serious health problems if they are not removed. The lemonade diet has been in existence for more than 100 years, and it is not just gaining popularity because of the awareness that many people are having concerning the need to live the healthy life.

The lemonade diet is not only used in removing toxins from the body. There are millions of people making use of it to achieve their weight loss goals. Naturally, lemon has a sour taste, but it can really help you in your weight loss program, no wonder it is commonly promoted on many websites and has gained a lot of support from many experts in the weight loss industry. There are also many celebrities currently making use of it. With the lemonade diet, you need to take lemon juice, maple syrup, water, teas and cayenne pepper. The diet does not contain any solid food because you are fasting. In the 10 days, it is important to drink about 10 daily servings of this recipe:

  • 2 tbsp organic grade B maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 c. purified water (not tap water)
  • 1/10 tsp or more cayenne pepper

When using the lemonade, it is important not to always put it in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. After the preparation, you need to follow these instructions:

  1. The lemonade mixture should include maple syrup, lemon juice, cayenne pepper and water of 5 to 12 glasses per day.
  2. Always take another glass of lemonade when you’re hungry.
  3. When on the lemonade diet, you should not take any other type of food.
  4. You should not take any vitamin pill or vitamins supplements when on the lemonade diet. The reason is that it is believed that a lemonade preparation already contains minerals and vitamins.

Though lemonade diet is commonly used as a weight loss diet, it is really not for that. It is meant to help you in detoxifying your body and having very few calories ingested, and you will definitely lose weight if you follow the process as you should. The diet is very good because it will give you more energy and let you have more appetite for healthy foods, in addition to a healthy body and a clearer mind. Though you will always be hungry when taking the diet, it will not be too serious that you will not be able to complete it. The diet also has an advantage of helping you to have good eating habit that will help you in many areas of life.

One thing that is now common is that there are lemonade diet pills sold in the market. The pills do not contain lemonade concentrate. Instead of that, they have cayenne pepper, molasses, maple powder, senna leave and other detoxifying and cleansing ingredients, which are necessary for the body to have good metabolism. The pills will also give you the same results, and you need about 14 days for them, unlike the usual 10 days in the case of the natural lemonade. It is still a new thing in the industry and has not been known to have any side effects.

I definitely had tons of energy during the cleanse! It is a great way to get your diet back on track, too. For those who over-eat or eat a lot of junky foods, it helps get the body back to craving healthier foods such as raw fruits and vegetables.
