3 Day Diet – Benefits & Side Effects – Is It For You?

The 3 day diet is the eating plan that you need to eat a type of food for 3 days. It works in such a way that at the end of the period, you are going to lose some pounds. With this diet plan, the foods eaten trigger certain metabolic processes in the body, which involves the burning of fats needed to lose some pounds. It is a plan in which you need to follow the rules to have the desired results. For instance, you may be required to take 3 ounces of lean meat, 1 cup of tuna, black coffee or tea every morning, including 8 saltine crackers.

The portions will always be very small, and will not satisfy you. Under normal circumstances, for instance, the lunch may include just a cup of cottage cheese or tuna and 8 crackers, which will be a very small meal. The aim of this is to have your daily calorie intake reduced, like taking 1500 calories per day instead of the 2000 calories required for a healthy adult.

This has been seen to be of more benefit than just losing weight, though the major purpose may be for you to shed some pounds. This is the 3 day diet that you may not do indefinitely. After finishing your first around, you may stop and then continue some months later.

Dinner: Take 1 cup of carrots and melon, 1 cup of tuna and half of vanilla ice cream cup

Research showed that the 3 days diet will help you shed pounds really fast but the pounds you lose are from losing water, not the excessive fat. With that said, if you want to drop weight quickly, 3 day diet plan will be likely to bring you good results, and you may substitute any of those ingredients for some other ones that you like. But make sure that they are closely related. You are also likely to have cravings for foods which are not helpful. You need to be very careful in this case because it may lead to the failure to achieve your weight loss goal. Even after the 3 day diet plan, you also need to discipline yourself and continue to stay away from those foods. One major problem that most people face in this diet plan is that they put on weight even after the 3 days, thus defeating the purpose.
